Flash Results Texas is a Houston, Texas based sports timing and data service, primarily for track and field, cross country and road racing events.  Started in 2002, we have handled national and collegiate championships, along with in-season college and high school meets. 

 

Our goal is to provide results quickly and accurately for the meets we work, as well as assist in making the presentation of the meet as smooth and professional as possible.  We use FinishLynx fully-automatic timing equipment and Hy-Tek meet management software.

Our experienced team can provide the following services:

 

Timing Services:     

  • Two independent FinishLynx fully-automatic timing systems, including cameras, computers, wiring and other necessary equipment.

  • Certified personnel to operate the equipment

  • Integration of FinishLynx results and Hy-Tek meet management software to provide results moments after the conclusion of an event.

  • Wired and RadioLynx wireless start systems

  • Automatic wind readings for track events, using Gill ultrasonic wind gauges.

  • Capability to connect to existing scoreboards, if compatible.

  • Microgate and ALGE D-Line finish line clocks displaying the actual time from the FinishLynx system

  • Time Machine and TimeTech Sprint8 timers for cross country and road race timing

  • Battery back-up for cameras and other vital components

  • Generator power available for emergency power situations

Meet Management Services    

  • Entries - handled using trackmeetsonline.com service or via email

  • Seeding - entries will be seeded and heat sheets produced

  • Results - printed results will be produced as soon as the results are official, usually within minutes of the completion of the event.  Results will be provided to meet management, announcer and for posting.

  • Real-time results on our website can be provided if internet access is available

  • In addition to printed results, complete results for posting on your website will be provided to the host after the meet (note - results will be posted on the Flash Results Texas website)

Other Services

  • AirLynx services available (FieldLynx, ClerkLynx and AirCyber)

  • FieldLynx units for recording field events

  • Remote Hy-Tek station or ClerkLynx can be set up in the Clerking area if heating is done on the spot.

  • Start lists and instant results available on wi-fi compatible handheld units via AirCyber

  • SerialLynx system to integrate finish line clock and wind gauges wirelessly, if necessary

  • Communications between the timing operator and our personnel at the starting line

  • Field event countdown timers

  • Portable PA for starters

  • Meet information, including pre-meet information, heat sheets and results can be posted on the Flash Results Texas website

  • Maintaining seasonal performance lists
